Dear Any Woman Anywhere,
That's ever had to leave a relationship because nothing was changing, because the other half of the relationship was not doing their part in their emotional work, not confronting their past demons, not allowing themselves to evolve, or because you didn't feel the LOVE that you have felt before, for any reason at all. Dear you, I am here for you. Whether it's a romantic relationship, or a career, or moving away from your family, that wasn't giving you space to heal, to do your work. I am here for you.
Life is nuts. NUTS. Life brings you to so many unexpected places and when we step back and watch it like a movie (HA) we can see that everything was supposed to happen just like it did, even if that's not very clear at the moment, especially if you're IN it.
Try not to worry about the exit either. The way you left isn't as important, whether it was smooth and quiet, or ugly and life-shattering. What's more overwhelming and empowering is the fact that you left. That you believed in your worth so much that you took action. You took responsibility for yourself.
Healing comes in waves, grieving in layers, and when we confront the feels that come up over the course of our lifetime of healing, ya know what it does??? It builds compassion. SO much compassion, that when a variation of your PAST walks into the yoga studio you work at, you just kinda sit back laugh. And, yea, I'll be there for her too.
Sisterhood, and not male-bashing sisterhood, but SUPPORT sisterhood, is super real and so is compassion, which ironically (aka not ironically at all) is the theme this week at YogaLab. HA!
As a woman, to a woman, I am here for you.
Love you so much, LP.
