What line of work are you currently in?

I work as a program coordinator for Wellfit Girls, a nonprofit started in SWFL. Wellfit Girls mission is to inspire, challenges and empowers teen girls through transformational leadership programs. In my spare time I also teach yoga and serve part time at Tacos and Tequila Cantina.

What's your best piece of health advice for women?

Stay active to the best of your ability at any age.

What's your favorite type of self-care?

A deep tissue massage.

What's the best piece of life advice passed down to you from your mother or a maternal figure?

My mom would always tell me this gem passed along from my grandmother to her ... "There is always someone better off, and worse off than you." Growing up my mom raised me and my sister as a single mother. Although we struggled at times she always kept things in perspective for us. It's something I still reflect on today when I find myself comparing what I've got versus what others have.

What's your current favorite blog, Instagram page, podcast or website?

I swear by the yogaglo app. I can pick any type of yoga class or meditation at home on my TV, or on the go via my phone or computer. Discovering yogaglo was a game changer for me.
