On this date two years ago some of the best people in the world surprised me with the lululemon Athletica Ambassador title. I was fresh to Naples, Florida and just starting out as a teacher in this wonderful community. All of the lululemon crew at that time are now some of of my best friends in the area! It's wild how different everything is two years later, we're all on our own path and creating the life of our dreams and deep down we all have Lululemon to thank!
Lululemon thrives off community and goal oriented work ethic, constantly reinventing and reevaluating, a framework I'll never forget. It feels so good to have goals and intentions and work towards them, without attachment. Over the past two years they helped and supported me through workshops, free yoga events and donation based yoga events that helped to get the community together.
They also had a big role in donating all of the yoga mats, blocks, books, essential oils and water bottles to the addiction and eating disorder clinic that I work at. I started at the clinic in July with only one class, and it has grow to 4 classes and several private lessons geared toward specific diagnosis.
The team is constantly getting into whatever is trendy and meaningful around town and it was lovely to be a part of their community. I have them to thank, from the bottom of my heart, for introducing me to some of my closest friends, most dedicated students and to other health and wellness professionals in the area.
