Since It's Been A Minute...

My super, duper stoked face to be back in the BlogOsphere!

I figured it's best to catch everyone up on what's been going on in my world, so it all makes sense going forward. I'm still currently living in Florida and just moved in with someone new, back to Naples from Bonita. I am super thankful for this new living arrangement, it's so close to work that I recently invested in a beach cruiser to commute sometimes! I'm still teaching primarily at Yoga Loft Naples and The Mindful Health Clinic, but I've also added Grey Oaks Country Club and Hot Yoga Naples to my roster! Also, still going strong at CrossFit Ionic too, my most favorite CrossFit Community! Ever since I moved to Naples I have been trying to teach at the local Bikram studio and all of my pestering has finally paid off. I have been at Hot Yoga Naples since May and I'm so very thankful, it reminds me of home AND I'm able to incorporate Bikram back into my practice two times a week! My body is loving getting back to my roots, as Bikky was the first style of yoga I ever took!

Looking back, it seems I stopped PodCasting in March, the last episode was about setting boundaries and protecting your energy. Maybe I jinxed myself but, it seems that's what I did. Around March season starts to slow down, but for me it didn't. My snowbirds seemed to leave a bit later this year and I was TIRED. I was still living in Bonita Springs, FL, which is a good 20 min drive to work. This doesn't seem long, but when your days are 7am-8:30pm sometimes you don't want to keep driving back and forth. My schedule paired with the anxiety of providing quality content on my podcast brought my sharing to a halt. While at the time I didn't realize this, looking back, this pause was the catalyst to my decline in energy and inspiration....along with some other life events that will be addressed as posts progress.

From weekly processing with my therapist, a SUPER DOPE road trip out West and two weeks of solid hibernation, meditation and yoga I came to the conclusion that my inspiration and motivation grow strong when I share. SO, i'm back. In hopes to create a snowball effect to catapult me into my next move. What would 20 weeks of hard work on my podcast be if I just stopped forever? Purposefully Yogini was created because I realized my purpose here on this earth, for now, is to help in the healing arts field. Marrying yoga, meditation, counseling, optimism, and reality FEELS SO GOOD to me.

Whether you're reading at your desk or at your favorite coffee shop, I'm really excited to be creating this hub, or go to, for all things HEALTH/WELLNESS/YOGA/LIFESTYLE. Love you, LP.
